One Room Survival: Vinyl Packaging Design
A vinyl record cover design for One Room Survival, the second album by Japanese band Serani Poji, produced by Yukihiro Fukutomi. Blending lounge, house, bossa, and techno, the album is a colorful and playful fusion of sounds that reflects the band’s unique artistic identity.Drawing from this vibrant musical style, the design incorporates pixel elements and a special metallic printing technique. I cut the letterforms out of plastic bags to evoke a breezy, summery feel, adding a playful texture to the overall composition. The result is a visual experience that feels both whimsical and futuristic, capturing the album’s distinct charm.To bring the concept to life, I also created a short animated promo—hope you enjoy it!
